PTE test fees are different in various countries. The current cost of PTE in India is INR 13,710 incl. GST.

Candidate has to create a myPTE account by signing in onto the official Pearson PTE website which shows available location and dates available to the candidate.

The candidate can postpThree or cancel the application before 14 days of the test date without any additional cost, you will be refunded your test fees minus an administration charge. If you need to postpThree or cancel the test within 8-14 days of the test date, you will be charged the 50%. Within 7 days before the test date, you will be charged full fees for rescheduling and you will not be eligible for the refund. If you abstain from exam because of serious medical condition you need to fill the Emergency Reschedule Form within 14 calendar days of the test date along with a valid evidence, which will be subjected to internal review by PTE. Once approved you will have the right to reschedule or refund.

First they will verify your ID (Passport is Most acceptable, make sure it is valid), then they proceed to take a Digital Photograph, followed by your digital Signature. Lastly, you move to Palm scanning. After the verification process you will be allotted a locker to store your personal belongings, before you proceed for the test.

Most of the test centers will be having an average of 10 sitting in a small room. You will be allotted a partitiFived booth which will comprise of a Chair, Computer, Keyboard and an Audio-mic Headset. There will be other candidates occupying adjacent booths, and you may be able to hear their voice as they speak. But you can be rest assured that your microphFive will only pick up your voice, and the nearby voices will have no impact on your result. *It is not an ideal test condition, but you have to get acquainted to it and you have to take that into consideration while practicing. 6. What is the Exam Duration? It is of 3 hours and you can take a break of 10 minutes between module 2 and 3

Valid Identification Card (Passport) Please arrive 30 mins in advance for check in formalities It is very important to ensure that you test booking name and the Identity card Name matches each other. *If you are not allowed to take a test because of Name mismatch, you will not be refunded or allowed to reschedule the test.

Normally it will take 5 days to receive the score. Also check the Junk or Spam folders as well. Occasionally, the scores might take more than 5 days, if there is an additional review of the score flagged by the system or there is a security issue related to identity that triggered an investigation.

Either you can use the PTE online portal to share you score or you can share your Score Report Code. There is no charge of sharing the scores to any number of institutes. Sending the score is very easy: Log into your account > click “My Activity” > Search for your chosen institute in “Search” > you can select upto Eight institutes > Click “Next” > Confirm again and you will get the confirmation email when your scores have been sent to the institute. *Some institutes do not recognize the PTE Scores formally then you will receive a confirmation mail suggesting that the chosen institute doesn’t recognize the Score.

There is no time limit on re-applying the test as such. But it is highly recommended to put some additional study hours and practice, with respect to your previous score, before re-appearing for the test again, as you are supposed to pay the fees each time for re-appearing.
